Hide and Seek

It only takes one of you to start audibly counting and everyone runs to hide.

Whoever is counting may have just been counting how many cars they were going to play with.

But the challenge has silently been issued.

A game of hide and seek ensues.

Magoo you crack me up.

You silently count. 

And then without warning start to hunt.

They all wait for you to seek.

And then start to fidget thinking you've forgotten the game.

"FOUND YOU!!!" you squeal in delight at your deceptive tactic.

It's in these moments I realise just how smart you are!

And for all the daily chores that nag at my heels I can not resist too.

What is it about "READY OR NOT HERE I COME"

that draws us in and captures the child within?
